The 22nd Milano Marathon will be held on 7 April 2024, the competition is organised by RCS Sports & Events and will open the spring of running and the season of the great international marathons.

A special entry fee of €59 will be offered to those who formally register by 31 July.

In the last edition, the Milano Marathon involved over 20,000 runners, including marathoners and relay runners, on the 42.195 km city course with start and finish in Corso Venezia.

In the women’s race, success went to Sharon Jemutai Cherop of Kenya, thanks to an exceptional change of pace in the last kilometre that allowed her to close in 02.26.13. In the men’s category, Andrew Rotich Kwemoi from Uganda, who was on his debut over this distance, took victory in 2.07.14, and Yeman Crippa, also making his marathon debut, pulled off a remarkable performance that earned him fifth place, the best of the Italians, with a time of 02.08.57. This confirmed the Milano Marathon as the fastest in Italy in 2023, once again turning the Lombard capital into the capital of running. All the more reason to be there next year.
