May I register the day of the race?

No, registrations will close at 11:59 pm on March 31, 2027. However, the organizer reserves the right to close registrations before the deadline or to accept entries after the deadline.

May I pay the registration fee when I pick up my bib number?

No, you have to pay in accordance with the payment procedures provided.

May I register even if I haven’t renewed my Athletics Federation license for 2027 yet?

Yes, you can register without entering your Athletics Federation license information at the same time.

You can finalise your registration at any time by uploading your Athletics Federation license’s number (valid on the day of the event, April 4, 2027)

The procedure must necessarily be finalised before collecting the bib number at the Milano Running Festival (April 1-2-3, 2027), otherwise the registration will be incomplete.

May I register even if I haven’t got a license or a Runcard or the medical certificate yet?

Yes, you can register without entering your RUNCARD and medical certificate information at the same time.

You can finalise your registration at any time by uploading your RUNCARD number and medical certificate (valid on the day of the event, April 4, 2027)

What does it mean "Sport tourism partecipation" (non-competitive)?

Running the non-competitive Marathon means:

  • You will be listed in a public ranking sorted by alphabetical order not by arrival time- you will receive your official time and participation diploma
  • You will receive your commemorative t-shirt, race bag and finisher medal
  • If you finish among the top 8 runners, you will not be eligible to receive any prize money. If you expect to place in the top 8, we recommend registering for the competitive marathon instead

How can I check if my registration was successful?

The online registration portal automatically sends an e-mail confirming registration when the payment is validated.

If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us at info@milanomarathon.it, to be sure that your e-mail can also receive the subsequent communications that we will send.

If I can’t participate, can I get a refund of the registration fee?

During the registration process you will be given the chance to purchase an insurance, at the cost of just 10 Euros, which will allow you to obtain the refund of the entry fee in case of cancellation of your participation for any reason.

If a refund is requested by January 31, 2027, the registration fee will be refunded 100%; if a refund is requested between February 1, 2027 and March 23, 2027, the registration fee will be refunded 75%. The refund will be made by April 30, 2027. If it is not possible to make the refund on the same credit card used by the user to register, making it necessary to make a bank transfer, the refund time will be extended until September 30, 2027.

The following are excluded from the refundable fee:
• the cost of the insurance itself (10 euros);
• the cost of the online registration service (5 euros);
• the cost of other paid options.

Note: It is not necessary to provide any proof of the reason for being unable to participate (e.g., a medical certificate). However, the refund must be requested by sending an email to info@milanomarathon.it. A form will then be sent, which must be completed to officially start the request.
