Milan, 4 April 2024 – The Milano Running Festival presented by Sky, a three-day event in tandem with the Wizz Air Milano Marathon scheduled for Sunday 7 April, began today.

It features a large exhibition hub in which entertainment activities, workshops, clinics and presentations of events and products take place. The event sees businesses from the world of running, fitness and sports tourism come together, dedicated both to those involved in running and the general public.

All this will take place in Milan’s CityLife district at the MiCo, the headquarters of RCS Sports & Events, from today until Saturday, where the Marathon Village open to runners will also be located. Entrance is at Gate 13 on Via Giovanni Gattamelata.

Among the first events of the afternoon is the inauguration of the Milano Running Festival featuring Martina Riva of the Municipality of Milan, Paolo Bellino and Luca Onofrio of RCS Sports & Events and Marzio Perrelli of Sky Italia, the event’s official broadcaster. Sky Sport in particular will have their own on-location studio within the MiCo which, coordinated by journalist Federica Frola, will cover a large amount of the sports event’s activities.

Today’s guests also include two sporting greats in Antonio Rossi and Fabrizio Mori representing the Guardia di Finanza, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of their foundation this year, and Monza Calcio footballer Danilo D’Ambrosio, who will participate in a discussion organised by Pullsee Luce e Gas, a new partner of the marathon.
