ASSOCIAZIONE MERCURIO APS
Run the 2027 Milan Marathon with Associazione Mercurio: Support “Crescere Insieme”!
Once again this year, Associazione Mercurio is hitting the track at the 2027 Milan Marathon for a major charity challenge: to raise funds for “Crescere Insieme,” the project that transforms schools from within and combats youth hardship and school dropout rates.
About Us
Since 2014, Associazione Mercurio has been partnering with public schools in Milan and Lombardy to combat educational poverty and ensure equal opportunities for growth for children and teens in vulnerable socioeconomic contexts. Through interdisciplinary and innovative programs, we foster emotional awareness, self-esteem, and inclusion among young people, empowering them to take the lead in their own educational journey.
The “Crescere Insieme” Project
Anxiety, isolation, and dropping out of school are daily challenges for many students. “Crescere Insieme” addresses this crisis through integrated educational interventions in middle schools, emphasizing soft skills and teamwork.
To date, the project has involved more than 1,400 students in 59 classes at two local schools (the IC Ermanno Olmi in Bovisa and the IC Pezzani in Corvetto), offering:
for students: orientation weeks, art therapy and body expression workshops, career guidance programs, mindfulness, and Philosophy for Children to develop empathy and self-esteem, and to make more informed choices about their future educational paths;
for teachers: training programs and methodological tools for empathetic classroom management and a positive school environment;
for families: opportunities for meeting and dialogue to strengthen collaboration between the school and the community.
Run with us and make a difference!
Every step you take helps us ensure an inclusive, welcoming, and stimulating school environment for hundreds of young people in Milan.
Join our team, run with us in the 2027 Milan Marathon, and help young people build their own future!
