Milan, October 28, 2025 – A new start, in an equally iconic location. The Wizz Air Milano Marathon 2026 will begin for the first time from Corso Sempione. This marks the first of many new features for the upcoming edition of the meneghina marathon, organized by RCS Sports and Events, which will be revealed in the lead-up to the race scheduled for April 12, 2026.
In line with major international marathons, the new start line on a wide city avenue will allow for larger spaces, improved logistics, and the opportunity to host an even greater number of runners. The change comes as a natural response to the growing success of the event. With 5,000 participants already registered less than six months before race day, the goal is to reach a new participation record of 15,000 runner.
Alongside the marathon, the Relay Marathon will also start from Corso Sempione, while finish lines remain unchanged from the 2025 edition: Piazza del Duomo for the marathon and Via Palestro for the relay.
