Join us and transform your sporting challenge into a tangible opportunity for over 1,300 children and young people living in five urban slums in Vijayawada, India.
These children are looking for a safe place where they can learn, grow, and dream of a different future every day.
The context in which they live is complex, with child labour, street life and early marriages being daily realities that they have to deal with far too soon.
However, with your support, we can provide them with a brighter future based on listening, care and education.
We are present in eight government schools that now accommodate 1,330 children and young people.
We support them through after-school activities, creative workshops, nutritious meals, and education about their rights and how to defend them.
For these children, these spaces represent much more than just a school: they are a refuge, an opportunity and a promise.

CARE TO ACTION is an Italian non-governmental organisation that has been working alongside children, women and communities in vulnerable situations in India since 1991.
Our goal is to ensure that every girl and boy has access to quality education and the opportunity to continue their studies up to university level. We support women on their path to autonomy and self-determination, and we work with local communities to develop essential services for sustainable economic and social growth.
Our initiatives focus on three target groups:
- Children and young people: We ensure access to education, as well as recreational and educational opportunities, for children and young people who face barriers in attending school or lack essential economic resources.
- Women: We recognise that women are critical to family stability and community progress. We create opportunities to improve their access to education, employment, and economic and personal independence.
- Communities: We work with communities to improve health, education, infrastructure, and opportunities for social connection.
