Run for Research. Run for Hope.
AISNAF is the Italian association supporting around 40 children and young people affected by Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation (NBIA), a group of ultra-rare, progressive genetic disorders that cause severe disability and for which there is currently no cure.
For over 20 years, AISNAF has been committed to advancing scientific research with one clear objective: transforming hope into real treatment opportunities. Thanks to the generosity of supporters and donors, the association has invested more than €400,000 in research projects and international scientific collaborations.
Why Your Support Matters
This year, by taking part in the Milan Marathon and supporting AISNAF, you can help drive the next stage of NBIA research.
Funds raised will support new collaborations between researchers, clinicians, and centers of excellence dedicated to the study of NBIA. These partnerships will help explore currently under-researched aspects of the disease and open the door to innovative, high-potential research initiatives.
For rare diseases like NBIA, progress often depends on bringing together different expertise, sharing knowledge, and testing new scientific ideas. Every new collaboration has the potential to accelerate understanding of the disease and move us closer to future treatments.
Every Step Makes a Difference
Every kilometer run and every donation made is a tangible investment in research and in the future of children and families living with NBIA.
Run with AISNAF. Turn your effort into an act of solidarity and help create new opportunities for research, innovation, and discovery. Together, we can move closer to the most important finish line of all: a cure for NBIA.
