The Family Run 2027 is the race scheduled for Saturday, April 3. The Family Run is the evolution of the School Marathon, which has always been organized in collaboration with OPES (Organization for Sports Education), which in 7 years has registered the participation of more than 62 thousand participants, including over 10,000 in 2026.
Starting this year, the event opens up to families, allowing participation to anyone who wants to experience a day of fun and sports.
The 2027 Social Project
This year, too, in order to provide concrete support for the development and dissemination of sports and the values of sport, half of the registration fee will be returned to the school selected at the time of registration, in the form of sports and school supplies, or donated to Comunità Nuova ETS to support the “IO Tifo Positivo” project.
IO Tifo Positivo is a sports-educational project by Comunità Nuova ETS that, since 2007, has promoted the values of sport in schools as a tool for education, inclusion, and participation. Every year, it engages thousands of children, youth, teachers, and families through programs in schools, meetings with sports champions, and events in the stands that emphasize respect, cheering, and the value of teamwork.
The Route 2026
The Family Run will feature a renewed course for the 2026 edition. This fun run, open to children and adults of all ages, covers a 4-kilometre route that winds mainly through CityLife, starting from Via Arona (next to the Velodromo) and finishing inside the iconic Maspes-Vigorelli Velodrome, within the Family Run Village.
