The Milano Running Festival 2026, linked to the Wizz Air Milano Marathon and the UniCredit Relay Marathon, both organised by RCS Sports & Events – RCS Active Team and scheduled for Sunday 12 April, officially opened today. This year, the event is hosted at Superstudio Maxi in the Famagosta district (Via Moncucco 35).

A large exhibition and entertainment hub hosting workshops, product presentations, training sessions, interactive areas, children’s labs and a food court. Not only sport, but also sharing, the promotion of healthy lifestyles and sustainability, with the participation of leading brands from the running and fitness industries.

It is also the official venue for bib and race pick up for marathon runners, relay participants and those taking part in the two races scheduled for Saturday, 11 April. Opening hours are as follows: Friday, 10 April from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday, 11 April from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The Running Festival programme features a packed schedule of events leading up to the “Queen Race”, which will bring over 15,000 registered runners to Corso Sempione, 65% of whom are from abroad, finishing in Piazza del Duomo. This will be followed by the UniCredit Relay Marathon, with 4,000 teams running across the city, splitting the official course into four legs, with the finish line located in Via Palestro.

Saturday’s races will instead take place in CityLife: the Enel Family Run in the morning starting at 9:00 am, and the Arcaplanet Dog Run in the afternoon at 3:00 pm.

The opening ceremony took place today in the presence of Paolo Bellino, CEO and General Manager of RCS Sports & Events, Luca Onofrio Head of Mass Events, and for Superstudio Maxi, General Manager Riccardo Bigio and Production Manager Stefania Ambrosini.

Among tomorrow’s highlights are the presentation of the Marathon and Relay course (3:10 pm), followed by the introduction of the Top Runners (3:30 pm). At the Village, several guests will be interviewed throughout the day, including Pieroad, Nicolò Guarrera, who will share his five-year journey around the world on foot, covering 35,000 km (2:00 pm), triathlete Michele Sarzilla together with Triathlon Team Ambassador Dole and Fabio Vedana (4:10 pm) and, at the end of the day, a session dedicated to the Charity Program with Rete del Dono, the Marathon’s long-standing partner (5:00 pm).

THE BROADCASTER

Sky Sport will once again be the official broadcaster of the Wizz Air Milano Marathon, airing the race live and providing coverage of the Milano Running Festival with dedicated interviews and in-depth features on Sky and via streaming on NOW. Details are as follows: Sky Sport Uno (channel 201): from approximately 8:05 am to 10:35 am. The race will be broadcast with commentary by Nicola Roggero and Stefano Baldini, with studio coverage (Federica Frola) until 10:00 am. Sky Sport 24 (channel 200): from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Buon Weekend, Sky Sport’s Sunday programme, will be broadcast live for the occasion from the studio set up in Piazza del Duomo, hosted by Federica Frola and Gaia Accoto, together with guests from the marathon and relay, as well as Sky Sport guests discussing other sports. 

For international audiences, the marathon will also be available on the Milano Marathon YouTube channel with English commentary by Geoff Wightman, as well as on DirecTV (South America) and ESPN (Central America).

Among the new features of the 2026 edition is the debut of Radio KISS KISS as the Official Radio of the Wizz Air Milano Marathon. This partnership holds special significance for the broadcaster, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and aligns with an event that “puts people’s energy, sharing and community spirit at its core.” The radio station will be present with a Glass Box (a mini studio) at Superstudio Maxi, offering live broadcasts, interviews and entertainment to celebrate sport, running and the city’s energy.
