Every day, Piccolo Principe Onlus welcomes around 60 children and young people who carry within them difficult stories, filled with shortcomings, wounds, and silences. Among them are around thirty adolescents who face the world with shyness and fear, often lacking the tools needed to feel safe in relationships and in life.

Welcoming them is not enough. Our commitment is to walk alongside them, helping them regain confidence, to feel that the world can be a good place. This is why we create paths that accompany them, step by step, towards healthy growth, filled with beauty, respect, and care.

Hence this project: returning to nature as a space of welcome and healing. We want to accompany the young people in simple and profound experiences, made up of shared reading, silence, walking in the woods, and acts of care towards the environment. We will do this together with expert mountain guides from the CAI – Italian Alpine Club of Sesto Calende.

In their relationship with water, earth, trees, and animals, children can experience something essential: caring and feeling cared for. Nature, like a patient mother, teaches us that we grow only within a nurturing and protective relationship. Thus, by learning to respect the world around them, they can slowly learn to respect themselves as well.

This project is an exchange of life and hope. It’s a way to mend wounded souls and transform fragility into strength, insecurity into awareness, fear into trust.

To make it happen, we need your help too. The project has an annual cost of €10,000, and your contribution can make a difference.

You can choose to support us with a donation or run with us in the Wizz Air Milano Marathon 2026, turning every step into an act of care and every kilometer into a chance for the future of our children.
