Duomo di Milano

For over six centuries, the Duomo di Milano, founded in 1387 by Gian Galeazzo Visconti, has preserved and enhanced the treasure of the city. One of the largest Gothic churches in Europe, the Duomo is the heart of Milan: the marble spires from Candoglia and the Madonnina, watching over the city since 1774, tell a story of faith, art, and craftsmanship.

The Monumental Complex includes the Cathedral with its panoramic Terraces, the Archaeological Area, the Duomo Museum, the Church of San Gottardo in Corte, and the Archivio Storico.
