Who are we?
Fondazione Laureus is an international organization that believes in the power of sport as an educational tool and a mean of social redemption.
Laureus operates throughout Italy, ensuring free access to sport for thousands of children in the outskirts of the country’s major cities through its projects.

By choosing to run for the Laureus Foundation, you will support our Sport for Good programmes, which use sport to provide safe spaces, contrast school dropout, and support the beneficiaries of our programs through coaches trained by our team of psychologists.
In over 20 years, we have guaranteed access to sports activities for more than 10,000 children, supporting over 30 active programmes across Italy.
Thanks to the valuable work of coaches and teachers, we have engaged children and families from Italy’s main cities facing high levels of educational poverty and risk of social exclusion.
The beneficiaries aren’t just the children — all families who come into contact with us receive support.
